Hyderabad, Nizams city of India

Hyderabad is an ancient city which is located on the bank of River Musi. It is around 500 years old which is located on The Deccan plateau. It is the capital of Southern state Andhra Pradesh. It is about 500 m above the sea level having most of the region as rocky terrain. It is one of the largest cities in India.
The city is having the population of 7.75 million of people. Hyderabad is one of the largest city in Andhra Pradesh. The city of Hyderabad was ruled by the Qutub Shah dynasty, Mughal’s and Nizams. It was them who have restored the old city of Hyderabad. The so called old city of Hyderabad is having enormous landmark like Charminar and Splendid Mecca Masjid.

Now days, Hyderabad is growing rapidly in terms of industrialization and IT along with its twin city Secunderabad. The ancient city of Hyderabad has many historical Landmarks which have served by Nizam and Mughal. The city is mainly known for its Splendid Charminar and Golconda Fort. Apart from this, there are many temples, Masjid, Tombs and Churches. It also Houses the Tollywood i.e. Telugu Film Industry.

  • Charminar
It is one of the famous landmarks in Hyderabad which is supported by four graceful minerates. Charminar was built by the Muhammed Quli Qutub Shah as a memorial for plague victims. It is located in the old city of Hyderabad.

  • Golconda Fort
It is one of the ancient forts in India. It is most glorious fortress complexes in India. It is located on hill one side and spiraling fort on another. The location and internal design of fort made it one of the best fort in the world.

  • Spanish Mosque
It is the very famous mosque in Hyderabad. It is also known as Masjid Iqubal Ud Daula. It was constructed in 1906 by Sir Iqubal Ud Daula. It is located in Begumpet. The exterior and interior design of Spanish Mosque is very much similar as Cathedral –Mosque of Cordoba in Spain and Jama Masjid in Gulbarga and Karnataka.

  • Mecca Masjid
It is one of the holy Masjid in Hyderabad which is located at the southwest of Charminar. It is one of the largest Masjid in India. It is named so because the brick were brought from Mecca to built the central arch of the Masjid.
Besides this there are many famous places like Hussain Sagar, Outub Shah Palace, Paigah Tomb, and Paigah Palace that attract the tourist.

The city has main international airport which is known as Rajiv Gandhi International airport. It operates all the domestic as well as international flights. It also has one of the airports in Begumpet which is used as a military purpose.

Hyderabad has four main railway station which connect the city of Hyderabad to rest of the cities in Hyderabad.

  • Begumpet Railway Station

Hyderabad is well connected to the other cities in India directly as well as through Intermediary locations.  The famous city of Hyderabad has three National Highways and Five state Highways which connects the cities Like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Mysore, Nagpur, Pune etc.
