Uses of Almonds



  1. Apply almond milk to face overnight and wash for glowing skin.
  2. Mix potato with curd and make paste. Add 1 tsp tomato juice, 2 drops of almond oil to this paste and apply on face, neck and hands. Wash with warm water after 1/2 hour for glowing skin.
  3. Soak almonds and grind it with milk and make paste. Apply this paste on face for 1 hour and wash with warm water. Do it regularly to get glowing skin.
  4. Mix coconut oil and almond oil in equal amounts and apply under eyes, around lips and massage. Clean with milk after 20 minutes to get rid of darkness.
  5. For cracked nails add 2 drops of almond oil in 1 tsp of milk. Apply it on nails and massage for 10 minutes. Do it regularly for better results.
  6. Blackheads: Use an oatmeal or almond mask throughly to cleanse your face. Mix either oatmeal or almond powder with enough rose water to make a soft paste that spreads easily on the skin. Rub it on your skin with your fingertips, paying special attention the problem areas. Leave to dry for about 15 minutes and then rinse off with cold water.
  7. For pigmented (dark) patches, mix ground almonds with curd and apply. Rub gently on the skin. Leave on for 5 minutes and wash it off with water.
  8. For dark circles, apply pure almond oil sparingly under eyes and massage gently for one minute using only the ring finger.
  9. Mask for normal to oily skin - mix one teaspoon each of oatmeal, ground almonds, honey and yogurt. Apply on the face and wash it off after 10 minutes.
